Grief Resources
While grief hits us all a little differently depending on who/what we lost, how the loss occurred, and what the aftermath of the loss has been, there are certainly commonalities in how we experience grief and what we need to cope with it. Please find in the following pages some information that may aid you in normalizing your grief experience, give you ideas for self-care, and help you connect with others who have also experienced the death of a loved one and may help you in your time of grief.

Grief Counseling
Death is considered a taboo topic in this society, and the bereaved are asked to get back to their "normal life" as soon as possible. Alas, this is not always possible, and the greater the loss, the less likely we are to ever return to the same life we had before, let alone be quite the same person we were before.
As odd as it may sound, I have been studying grief and loss since 1998, and have been passionate about helping the bereaved through this most painful journey. The bereaved often feel alone, marginalized, broken, crazy, or just plain annihilated. I would like to be there for you in this time of chaos, help ease your burden, and offer you hope for the future.
I offer individual counseling as well as bereavement support groups. In addition, for those who wish to work with the bereaved, I offer in-house consultations and trainings. In either case, please do not hesitate to call - you are not alone.
